Living the Weekend like Hadassah

“For how can I endure to see the evil that will come upon my people?
Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?”
–Esther 8:6

As much as I want to indulge in the abundance of chocolate this week, as much as I want to join the Rugby much in Ultra today, as much as I want to enjoy my favourite past time, I could not. I must not. I deprive myself of these things for far important matter: The State of Israel is at stake.

My body is fine with it. It’s not much bothered, as a matter of fact. It’s my soul that needs to be disciplined, full time and real hard. I have to make sure that my standards remind high and sensibly acceptable to my Lord.

Besides discipline and the cause of Israel, I also need to seek God for guidance regarding an upcoming event in the next couple of weeks.

By the way, I am wondering if I should be writing this in my journal notebooks instead here. I need to review my D-manual.
