3rd Week of December

12/20. It was the Christmas Party for the Azkals hosted by the Kaholeros. Of course, the Malditas were also invited.

I came late because I had to attend our Pre-NNO training. Can’t afford to be absent, and I couldn’t think of a reason to be absent. When I came, only Misagh was left from the senior team. I also saw Jerry. Wasn’t really bothered. The main reason why I insisted on coming was my promise to a colleague that I would come. I was very confident last week that I can come early. I even volunteered to help for the registration. It turned out that our training sched was not favourable. Grr…

Most of the players left were from U23, those that are based here. I’ve actually met two new players. I was formally introduced to one while his twin greeted me when we crossed ways. It was semi-formal, because we didn’t give our names.

I also got to meet and be formally introduced one player, whom I’ve seen before. I knew his name, but I just couldn’t put his name and face together without difficulty. Most of the time, I would only remember his name when he’s already more than a yard away. But I believe I wouldn’t have that trouble next season. I can greet him and call him by first name when I see him again.

It was given that the First XI had to say, though some left earlier because of commitments the following day. Most of us stayed, for the egress and some chat.

The First XI, the other Kaholeros and the two GFC players left had:

…photo sessions. Because we’re so Filipinos.

…a short drinking session. Of course, I didn’t join them. Another one also didn’t join. He already had his limit.

…argument about Football (EPL and La Liga), especially FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid

12/21. Colds. My right nostril caught the bug and I got quite worried about it. It’s too troublesome.

12/22. Malaise. Thanks to full blown right nostril colds. It was really troublesome. I felt my body weighing me down. It’s been a long time since I had colds so it feels new to me.

12/23. I came 14 minutes late because I had too much bed rest and our sched was moved from 1PM to 11AM. Besides the colds, I had a very troublesome headache. It was so troublesome that I had to ask for some drug from the clinic. On most occasions when I have headache, I just ignore it. But what I had yesterday was impossible to ignore. It made my condition worse, making thinking a task. Grr..

But during our last break, I felt quite better so I was quite perky. Had to be one to divert my attention from my worsening condition. Kerl agreed.

12/24. My left nostril also caught the bug. =(
