The 12MN notice.

I went to TMC last Friday to have my DTR signed. Someone approached me and asked me if I’d be available on Monday, which was yesterday. I said yes. He then asked me to relieve for him. I told him, “Sure. Just text me.”

Weekend went by and still no text from him. It was annoying because he sounded so eager but… what now? I still waited.

Monday came and I woke up early. I usually do. I checked my phone and saw his message which was sent on 12MN, and I was like, “What?!” I definitely didn’t like it because I take no such ‘requests’ on such times unless it’s from my agent. I even asked him if it was official. To my disappointment, there was no reply. And to add insult to the injury, he said he’d text TMC’s supervisor. He said that after he sent the “request.” Mind-blowing.

The most sensible action was to confirm my relieving status so I texted the TMC supervisor two hours after I woke up. She wasn’t even sure but she gave me his shift-schedule.

Who sends such “request” on the midnight of the day of reporting when there’s a generous time during the weekend?
