My supervisor texted me this morning that we don’t have clinic today. Probably due to heavy rain. I’m still not even sure if Typhoon Falcon is lurking around. All I know is that it’s been raining hard these past few days. And running out of dime is not helping.
I didn’t go to work yesterday because I was feeling bad plus last Thursday night my shoes got soaked in the rain when I waited for at least an hour before I could have a ride to Market! Market! (only). The terminal line was so long I knew it’d only make me impatient so I walked to where I thought I might get a ride soon.
But it was a fail.
I’ve been waiting for minutes and more. There was still no jeepney that could accommodate me. I decided to walk further hoping that wherever I stop there would be seat available for me. But it was another fail. So I decided to just walk.
Yes, I walked from Market! Market! all the way to Bonifacio Heights. I think it took me an hour and fifteen minutes or so. Man, I walked for at least 75 minutes! That’s how tough it was for me on Thursday night. That was 23 June 2011.
