Day 3. I was approached and asked about a delayed processing because the patient gave the record to me. Everything I received from patients (on this day) was either given to Bev or posted in Counter 3. Whatever happened after was no longer in my hands.
But the inquiry of me turned into an extended SOP explanation. Everyone was almost on their feet, but I was calm. I was not anxious because I know I did no wrong. I took the sermon, if you’re thin-skinned, and went on. No harsh feelings. Why should I?
Day 4. It’s quite deja vu all over again. I was just asked to give the chart and relay messages. I made no calls, because I’m not authorized to. The doctor was explaining things that she looked upset. Didn’t really matter if she was. I just wanted things done properly.
