I had my hair rebonded at the same time when Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III took oath as the 15th President of the Philippine Republic.
When I got back to work, 2 days later, I knew it wouldn’t take long for one of my seniors to tease me. I’ve known he’d do so even before I had a hair rebond.
He said, “Hindi na siya Ma’am Tere ngayon. Ma’am Rupy na.”
I’m not upset about it nor am I pikon about the whole thing. It’s just weird for me to be compared with someone. I hope I’d be able to think of a better counter-tease to my officemates.
